Matthew Fairbrother

Born and raised in New Zealand, it was a right of passage to shape my life around the outdoors. Living life by one rule; if something scares me enough to think twice about it, I’ve got to go do it. What first started as bike packing and then competing in enduro world cups, has now extended to a wide horizon of trail-blazing, ultra-endurance feats and bike-mountaineering. Outside of riding I’m a freelance photographer, short-form filmmaker, producer and copywriter. You’ll find me chasing the sun, living that eternal summer dream. I’m based In New Zealand Oct-Mar and Europe/North America Apr-Sep.
